Lindsay Miller

Lindsay has almost always been found outside; she has a master’s degree in Natural Resources, and has been a research ecologist, environmental regulator, flower farmer, and writer. As a child, she joined her mom on a trip to pick out annuals one spring and has loved greenhouses and gardens ever since.

Lindsay’s list of favorite plants is constantly evolving, but coneflower and Baptisia are currently at the top. She is particularly enthusiastic about finding native alternatives for non-native ornamental plants. Lindsay currently lives with her husband and daughter in central Vermont, where they are slowly rewilding a too-big grass lawn and trying to keep bears out of the compost.
